Abstract:
LabVIEW is a graphical programming language which can execute on a variety of hardware platforms (from PC to Programmable Automation Controller and FPGA). The intention is to allow scientists and engineers who are not expert computer scientists to execute their ideas effectively. This seminar will demonstrate how LabVIEW can be used in a variety of applications from real-time data acquisition, robotics controls, embedded applications, and more. The classroom as well as the research aspect will be discussed, along with example curriculum material and industrial applications.
