- Volunteer scientist for the Science-by-Mail program where students in elementary schools work on science projects and communicate with established scientists to discuss technical and related issues: 1992-1996.
- Participant in the Scientists’ Institute for Public Information: Media Resource Service and Teacher Referral Service.
- Awarded grant, Fall 1992, by Rutgers Teaching Excellence Center to create innovative approach to teaching vibration.
- Work on NASA Space Grant Consortium K-12 Program with Memorial School in East Brunswick (Principal R. Storch). Also: Bringing Science to K-5 (1996-1998). Organized visits to Rutgers College of Engineering by 5th and 6th grade classes to tour engineer
- Presented Special Lecture on Space Engineering at the Rutgers Academic Challenge Semifinals Tournament, Saturday, 25 March 2000.
