All those exams wearing you out? Then come join IIE & SME on October 28th from 6:30pm til 7:45pm in the Busch Student Center Rm 122A for free food and dirnk as well as a nice place to come and relax for a bit while meeting new people. All are invited so we look forward to seeing you there!

Barnes & Nobles Distribution Center tours - November 12, 2009
The Institute of Industrial Engineers will be sponsoring a tour of the Barnes & Noble distribution center on Thursday November 12th. A mere 20 minutes away from Busch Campus, Barnes & Noble maintains a state of the art, highly automated distribution center servicing a major portion of their business. Come experience how a first class DC operates and network with the Rutgers alumni that oversee its operation. There is only room for 12 people and seats are filling up quickly!The tour starts at 1:30pm and lasts about an hour and a half so expect to leave Rutgers at 1pm and returning around 3:30pm

Be sure to includehow you will be getting to the distribution center as it is located at 1 Barnes and Noble Way, Monroe Twp, NJ 08831-3417, right off the New Jersey Turnpike and is only a twenty minute drive from Busch campus. If driving, please indicate if you would be willing to bring additional students in your vehicle. We will find rides for everyone so don’t let a lack of transportation sway your decision.
