Sharat Chandra is a Masters student in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rutgers University since September 2009. He recieved his Bachelors degree in Electronics and Communication from Vishweshvariah Technological University, Karnataka, India in 2008.

His research interests are in the area of High Performance Computing, Distributed Systems and Application level Power Management in Clustered environments. He is working under Professor Manish Parashar in CAC@Rutgers(Center For Autonomic Computing) on Application Aware Power Management of HPC Workloads.
