Capstone Design 2014, a senior-level project design competition was held on April 23, 2014 in the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Rutgers University. Prof. Pompli served as the faculty advisor of the winning team. The three teams mentored by Prof. Pompili, namely,  SURPASS: Supplemented Urgency Regulating Personal Alert Safety System, High Altitude Glider, and Energy-Conscious Home Automation were shortlisted among the top ten.
