CPS lab students E. K. Lee, H. Viswanathan and Prof. Dario Pompili have won the Best Paper Award at the IEEE International Conference on High Performance Computing (HiPC), to be held in Pune, India in Dec. 2012. The acceptance rate of this conference is 25%. The paper is entitled, "VMAP: Proactive Thermal-aware Virtual Machine Allocation in HPC Cloud Datacenters."
