Computational Cluster Project Conclusion
So let's review what we have here:
- A network of five computers with Red Hat Linux installed on
each machine (because of kickstart installation)
- A network of five computers each of which can be logged on to
access our user accounts (because of NIS server)
- A computational cluster with four homogeneous machines that
are capable of splitting up a computational task to speed up
processing time (because of NFS and MPI)
- A wicked cool interface for managing the queues and jobs for
the computational cluster (because of SGE)
