Each year, the First Year Student Orientation for the School of Engineering generally takes
place after students move in, and just prior to the start of classes. The information below
will be updated for the current year.
Friday, August 29, 2008
8:30 am - 12:00 noon: First Year Commuter Student Orientation and Welcome.
12:00 noon - 3:00 pm: Transfer Student Move-in - Quad 3, Livingston Campus.
3:00 pm - 4:30 pm: Engineering Commuter First Year Student Academic Session - Engineering Bldg, Rm B120, Busch Campus.
3:30 pm - 7:00 pm - Transfer Student Welcomes Session and BBQ Dinner - Livingston Gymnasium.
Saturday, August 30, 2008
8:00am - 12:00pm: Campus Housing Move In.
2:00pm - 4:00pm: Floor meetings in residence halls.
4:00pm - 6:00pm: Dinner.
8:30pm - 11:30pm: Carnival at Stadium Parking lot.
Sunday, August 31, 2008
9:30am - 8:30pm: Residence Life sessions and presentations.
9:00pm - 10:30pm: Campus Throwdown spirit competitions.
Monday, September 1, 2008
Engineering First Year Academic Orientation, Hill Center Room 114, Busch Campus.
Last names A through K: 8:30am - 10:00am
Last names L through Z: 10:30am - 12:00pm
7:00pm: Football Game, Stadium (there will be heavy traffic and tailgating early on Busch campus!)
Tuesday, September 2, 2008 - FIRST DAY OF CLASSES
8:30am - 4:30pm: Late Registration begins, Engineering Building, Rm B100, Busch Campus.
