All Engineers are required to complete their own registration via webreg or the phone system during the appropriate time frames. The ONLY time registration is done for you is during your very first semester at the School of Engineering or if you require a pre-requisite override and/or special permission number to register. The Schedule of Classes posts registration dates. The Office of Academic Affairs (B100) also sends out some reminder emails to eden accounts about add/drop dates. The last day to drop a Spring 2009 course is Monday, April 13th. Dean’s approval of all course withdrawals is required at this time. Members of the Class of ’09, ’10, & ’11 may email requests to drop courses to Dean Bernath (bernath@rci.rutgers.edu) or Dean Prendergast (lprend@rci.rutgers.edu) or arrange to see one of us during our scheduled office hours. If your request is submitted via email and we decide that we need to see you in person, we will ask you to come in for a personal meeting. First-year students (Class of 2012) must receive approval from Dean Rankin in person in office hours to drop courses. See him in EN-B100 or email questions to jerankin@rci.rutgers.edu. April 13th will be the last day to drop individual courses. If an exam is taken anytime through Monday, April 13th, and grades are not available by 4:30pm on April 13th, an extension will be granted until Tuesday, April 21st (4:30pm). You will be required to show proof of the exam date and the date when grades were posted. If an exam is taken after April 13th, no extension will be granted and the request for withdrawal must be made by 4:30pm on April 13th.
